Carbon footprint

Our company is deeply committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. In 2023, we obtained ISO 14064 certification, a standard for verifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, further reinforcing our commitment to “responsible chemistry.” This initiative is closely aligned with the Nisshin OilliO Group’s core philosophy of “The Power of Plants” reflecting a shared vision for sustainability and innovation.

As a further initiative, we have established a system to accurately calculate and report the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) across our entire product portfolio. By utilizing this valuable data, we can identify areas for improvement in reducing CO2 emissions and set clear targets. IQL will leverage this information to drive sustainable innovation and move forward toward achieving the group’s ambitious CO2 reduction goals. This data also enables us to actively drive emissions reductions across the entire supply chain, minimize environmental impact, and quantitatively track and report progress on our initiatives.

Furthermore, calculating and reducing PCF is a key element of our strategy to drive sustainable innovation. Through the development of eco-friendly products and services, we aim to enhance customer satisfaction with environmental initiatives while contributing to the group’s overall CO2 reduction targets. We are committed to continuous improvement and fostering collaboration at all levels of the organization to keep sustainability at the core of our business activities.
